Blick UK Extends its ProSoft Range of Products
1 August 2002
Blick UK's time and attendance division has extended its successful ProSoft range with the launch of three new packages aimed specifically at small to medium sized organisations.
The new ProSoft SME range incorporates ProSoft 60, ProSoft 100 and ProSoft 200, which are for organisations with up to 60, 100 and 200 employees respectively.
Identical to the initial ProSoft product, each version of ProSoft SME consists of five individual modules, which can be integrated to create the most comprehensive time and attendance management tool on the market.
Suited to both industrial and white-collar organisations, ProSoft SME provides the highly effective monitoring that is required to help companies meet the increasing demands being placed on them by flexible working practices and government legislation.
Two of the five available modules - ProTime, for monitoring and reporting time and attendance, and ProPlan, for resource scheduling - are included within the standard package of ProSoft SME.
The remaining three - ProAcess, for access control, ProCost, for cost centring, and ProNet, which allows time and attendance monitoring via the internet - are available as optional modules.
ProSoft SME also includes a report generator, and export and import modules, which allow the transfer of data to and from other systems for complete integration.
And, as all of the ProSoft range operates on identical hardware and software, ProSoft SME can be upgraded to ProSoft Premium if an organisation expands to above 200 employees.
Liza Bewick, Divisional Director of Blick Time Systems, said: "There is a definite move towards a better work-life balance for employees in all types and sizes of organisations.
" ProSoft has been a huge success since its launch last year and we are continually developing it so that it becomes the time and attendance solution for all organisations, irrespective of their size." |

Blick UK Wins Five-Year Government Contract
2 April 2002
Blick UK has been awarded a five-year contract with the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) to be an OGC Buying Solutions approved supplier, installer and commissioner of Flexible Working Hours systems.
The contract, which runs until October 2006, means that Blick UK's Time and Attendance Division is one of only two companies approved to provide these services to central government, local government, the wider public sector, and their private sector agents and contractors.
As an approved company, Blick UK will be featured in all OGC printed directories as well as on its web directory - www.ogcbuyingsolutions.co.uk - allowing subscribers to contact them direct.
Steve Coetzer, Blick UK's national sales manager for the Time and Attendance Division, said: “We are absolutely delighted to win this contract and become an approved supplier of the Office of Government Commerce.
“ It is an indication of both the quality and competitiveness of Blick UK's Time and Attendance Division that we have been awarded this contract and we are looking forward to providing an excellent service to the civil government.”
The OGC - formerly The Buying Agency - was launched in April 2000 to streamline the Government's annual procurement spend of over £13 billion. It provides procurement services to help central government, the wider public sector, and their private sector agents and contractors achieve value for money. |
